i like heavy metal music.
listening to alot of melvins and neurosis right now.
just discovered pandora
almost any music you can think of and it creates a custom radio station based on your music taste. I have my Kyuss station. A Melvins station. An Isis station. ummmm the metal seething from the poor little speakers of this mac is molten hot. I am certain they will melt under the sheer density and weight of METAL!
each time i post i will give a listening list. maybe what's in the car... a smoke smelling Rav 4 rental right now. and what's at the jobsite... rehabbing a condo. and what's at home. and what's on the computer. and whats in the studio.
The List:
Melvins 'Ozma/Gluey Porch Treatments' on the jobsite.
thick and slow. a little runny. love the drumming.
Bloodlet 'The Seraphim Fall' at the studio. searing dense layered brutal guitar work.
Sepultura 'Arise' remastered in the car. nice old thrash metal.
beneaf da remains. ya gotta love how max cavalera enunciates.
Radiohead 'In Rainbows' on the jobsite. mmmmmmm like honey. this one is smooth.
Kid Dynamite in the studio... great glue-up music... gets ya movin hella fast.
Melvins, Neurosis, Cult of Luna, Kyuss, Clutch and Isis on Pandora.
etc.
David Sedaris box set. the man is fall down funny...
don't hold a nail gun on scaffolding while listening to him!!!!
Chuck Ragan (formerly in Hot Water Music) bleeds emotion
and gives the goose bumps out for free.
Rumbleseat (members of Hot Water Music) acoustic hot water.
awesome and rough around the edges.
okay 'the list' is getting outta sight.
looks like i am going to include alotta words about
why i am listening. sound description.
ever changing. ever evolving. heavy.
